Helen had been topside from the horrible place for a few days and Xander's heart had finally stopped racing whenever she was out of his sight. Granted, he wasn't too happy that she was out at the Club drinking with Luthor, why was it always Luthor, but at least she knew she was safe. And while he didn't get the drinking, he knew this was something they needed to do.

But it did give him the chance to work on a few personal projects that he'd neglected in his worry and then in his reunion with Helen. So there he sat on the porch, forming a piece of wood in his hand with one of his woodworking tools, waiting for her to come home to him.

While Xander still wasn't quite convinced this was a good idea, he was willingly to go along with it. The worst thing that could happen would be that Alcuin would say now. If he said yes...well, it would be interesting but Xander certainly didn't have it in him to say no.

When Helen knelt, Xander switched his hold to her shoulders, helping her to stay steady as she spoke to Alcuin.

While Xander didn't see things quite the way they did, he did see things as well. Granted, his view tended be a bit more innocent then theirs, he couldn't deny the want to help a friend in need. "Really, Alcuin, we want to help. It would be our pleasure." He said, as reassuring as he could.

Alcuin looked a bit startled when Helen knelt in front of him, and it was clear as well from his expression that he had not been expecting what followed.

He looked at them both for a moment, and then finally asked, a bit hesitantly, "Do... you want me?"

It was important to him. As lonely as he was... he needed to be desired, not pitied.

By way of an answer, Saffron leaned forward, releasing Alcuin's hand so she could cup his face in a way very similar to what she'd been doing with Xander just moments before, and yet so different.

"Yes," she said softly, then leaned in to kiss him, and took her time with it.

Xander watched Helen kiss Alcuin and while his heart twinged for a moment, he couldn’t help but find the sight beautiful as well. Before the kiss even ended, Xander reached out and set his hand on Alcuin’s shoulder, so when they did break away, the other man would look up at him. “Yeah, yeah we do Alcuin.”

Then it was his turn to lean in a kiss his lonely friend.

The kiss from Helen was sweet, and Alcuin parted his lips instinctively and leaned into it, and then when Xander's lips were offered to him as well, he opened himself up even farther to it. Desire sparked inside him.

He was, in truth, unsure as to why they were making this offer, and he hoped that it was in the spirit of desire, and love, and not pity. But unsure thought he was, he could not find it in himself to question.

"It would honor me to join your bed," he said softly when the kiss with Xander broke.

"Then come inside," Saffron said, after she'd taken a moment to appreciate the view she'd just had.

She took hold of Xander's arm so he could pull her to her feet, then reached out with her other hand when she was standing so she could take back Alcuin's hand and lead him along with them. She wanted to touch more, to kiss, to seek out bare skin, and to watch, but she settled for clutching a hand and an arm until they were back in the bedroom.

Pity was the last thing on Xander's mind. He loved Helen more then he could stand and he had an intense desire to for Alcuin, a desire to comfort his friend who sorely needed it.

Xander gladly pulled Helen up and then when Alcuin stood to join them, he touched his shoulders for a moment in support before following Helen into their bedroom. Then he bit his lip, as the realization that he had no idea what to do, and that he was probably the least experienced person in this situation, hit him.

Alcuin could see that Xander was unsure, and when he stood there between them, he thought back to the times he had done this in Terre d'Ange, with patrons. He said with quiet solemnity, "This is not about my coming between you, I can be a conduit for your desire for each other."

Saffron smiled softly, hanging on to both men probably a little more than was necessary as a way to keep herself from swaying or stumbling. "Don't worry about coming between us," she assured Alcuin, sweeping a hand over that amazing white hair of his as the other clutched at Xander, keeping him close. "No one could do that. Not unless we put you there."

She kissed him again, then, slow and sweet. "Let me see the two of you together," she said, stepping back so Xander and Alcuin could come closer to each other.

At Alcuin's concern, Xander just gave him a bashful smile. "That's not what I'm worried about. You are just as much an equal part of this as we are." He paused then admitted. "I just don't know where to start."

Thankfully even drunk, Helen was patient and knew exactly what he needed. Xander gave her a thankful kiss on the cheek before turning completely to Alcuin to kiss him again, his hands moving just to rest on his hips for now.

Alcuin relaxed into the kiss with Xander, bringing one hand up to cup his face and deepening it just a touch. He had kissed Xander before, but it had hardly been real at all, and this was. It was a nice kiss, sweet.

"I think this is a good place to start," he said softly when it broke.

There were some condoms left over, Saffron knew, and though they were in no rush, she took the moment while Xander and Alcuin were kissing to go and discreetly take out two of them, setting them on the bedside table for when they would eventually be needed.

By the time Alcuin spoke again, she had rejoined them, moving to stand behind Xander. She slid her hands up his sides, beneath his shirt, prompting him to pull it off.

It was different, kissing Alcuin. Yes they had kissed before but it had been so long since he'd kissed anyone but Helen. It wasn't bad, just different, and after a moment, he began to really enjoy it.

So much so that he made a soft noise when they broke apart. Soft noises at the familiar hands that came from behind him. With all the skill he'd learned in his years at the club, he stripped off the shirt and got rid of it without moving from between the two of them. Then he returned the favor, hand moving to Alcuin's shirt, wanting to not be the only one half naked.

Alcuin too was very adept at getting out of his clothes, and he only had to lift his arms and then his shirt drifted to the floor, revealing a well-formed body and pale skin marred only by the long, thin scar up his side - and of course, his marque.

A smile touched his lips at the little sound Xander made, and he looked over Xander's shoulder to Helen, still smiling.

Saffron returned Alcuin's smile, pressing a kiss to Xander's shoulder as she came around to stand behind Alcuin. She ran her hands lightly over his marque, just admiring for a moment.

"Beautiful," she murmured, and pressed a kiss to his shoulder blades before reaching through his arms to take hold of the waistband of Xander's pants. Smiling, her lips brushing Alcuin's shoulder blade, she tugged to get her boyfriend even closer to them.

Xander watched in fascination as Alcuin took off his shirt, having never seen the other male less then full clothed before. There was definitely a contrast between them, light to dark, even more then Xander had felt with Spike years ago.

His smile faded for a moment as he remembered back to the previous incarnation of the ex-vamp. But he chased it away by letting Helen pull him closer and kissing her over Alcuin's shoulder, while his hands moved up Alcuin's sides, just touching lightly to get a feel for the other body pressed against his.

Alcuin could not see them, but almost feel them kissing with him pressed between them. He allowed himself to bask in the intimacy of it and tried to push back the sting of envy.

He smoothed one hand up Xander's chest as they kissed, and with the other began working at the fastenings on his trousers.

She could get a sense of what Alcuin was doing from the feel of his movements. Saffron released her hold on Xander as they continued to kiss, and while Alcuin worked on Xander's pants Saffron moved nimble hands to Alcuin's, working to get them undone.

It wouldn't be long before she was going to start feeling very overdressed.

Xander wanted to fix that but he too could feel what was going on so he wisely decided to wait until they were done. Though he did take the opportunity to toe off his shoes.

Once his and Alcuin's pants were a puddle on the floor, Xander broke the kiss and gave Alcuin a quick playful one before stepping back. "I think Helen is over dressed."

Now it was his turn to step around them to Helen's back, where he could help her slip out of her dress, kissing her shoulders in the process.

Alcuin was happy to stand back and watch them for a moment, his gaze sliding reverently over her form.

"You're very beautiful," he said softly. "You would have stood out even in Terre d'Ange."

Saffron's first instinct as Xander came around behind her was to lean back against him, but she resisted, instead letting him free her from her dress. She sighed softly at his gentle touch, then smiled at Alcuin's words.

"I hear tell you folks in Terre d'Ange are all terrible gorgeous," she said. "Thank you, sugar." And to show her appreciation for his compliment, she reached to curl one hand around the back of his neck and gently pulled to get him to come in for a kiss.

Xander watched the interaction and the kiss as he untangled her from her dress. Then he did stand up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, so that he could touch them both.

He had to suck in a breath, marveling at the beautiful sight before him. It was strange seeing Helen kiss someone else, but considering it was a dear friend, it didn't bother him as much as he thought it might.

Alcuin sighed into the kiss. It had been a very long while since he had properly kissed a woman, and he found it rather pleasant. When it broke, he slid a hand up the curve of Helen's hip, up her side. "Well deserved," he said softly. He managed to find one of Xander's hands with his own. "I also feel that mayhap I should point out that, ah... I do know my way around a woman, contrary to common assumption."

Saffron slipped one arm around Alcuin's shoulders, the other hand reaching back for Xander. "I never suspected you didn't," she assured him. "And my, have I found myself in the middle of one handsome sandwich."

She gave Xander's hip a fond squeeze, then released him so she could use both hands to smoothly slide down Alcuin's boxer briefs.

With a soft chuckle, Xander squeezed Alcuin's hand. "After that kiss, I don't have any doubts." Not that he did before but he'd also never really thought about it. He just figured Alcuin knew what he was doing, period.

Then he dropped a few sweet kisses on Helen's neck as he unhooked her bra. "Only the sweetest filling for this sandwich."
