When Helen has asked Xander the night before during his shift at the club to come by the club the next day to help her with something, he assumed it was because he was also on the building crew and she needed help fixing something. So after gathering up some tools, he made his way to the club, letting himself inside since he assumed by the unlocked door that Helen was already there.

"Helen? Hello?" He called as he walked through the emtpy Willows Room towards the stairs to the Catscratch Club. "I'm here. Whatcha need?"

Saffron had been waiting, biding her time and thinking of the best way to approach the situation. She knew Xander was going to have to be handled delicately, and she wanted to make sure to get it right. That wasn't going to be a problem, though, considering she got it right almost every time.

She was upstairs when he arrived, and moved to look over the railing when he called out. "Xander, come on up here, honey," she called down to him. No one else was there, just him and her.
