"Mmnngh." Kon batted at the person next to him, came up with nothing but air, and was almost immediately shocked awake by the gentle rocking motion that the movement made when that person next to him fell off the bed. It was what he imagined what a waterbed felt like if that waterbed was dipping up and down dangerously. He noted a few more things. His feet were absolutely aching, he was at least sort of dressed, and there was another person in the bed besides him. A familiar person because he thought he knew the voice.
It took him another foggy minute to realize that this wasn't a bed at all. He opened his eyes and squinted as bright sunshine hit him square in the face. He looked down and stared. Water, that was what was below him. He was floating on water. Well, at least that explained the splashing noise.
He turned slowly and his jaw dropped even more. Xander was staring at him from the pool of the waterfall. He grabbed onto the raft as if that could keep him floating any more than he'd been already.
