Saffron found the offered bite incredibly sweet, made even more so by Xander's smile. Every time she thought he couldn't get any more precious to her, something happened to prove her wrong.
She placed light fingers to his hand and took the bite straight off the fork, giving a little hum of pleasure. "Very good," she praised once she'd swallowed, though she'd expected nothing less. "Your turn." She cut a bite of fish from her own plate and held it out to Xander, mirroring his gesture.
