Xander rolled his eyes. "If you heard me then you heard for yourself the thing is broken..." And as if to prove his point, he tossed it up in the air. It flipped a couple times before landing back in his hand with a loud pop and a flash of light.
The was unexpected and Xander started back, falling flat on his ass, the wand still in his hand. "Uh...oops?"
