Spike stared him for a few moments before answering. "Mate, there are so many things wrong with what you just said I don't even know where to begin." He sighed and put an arm around Xander's shoulders. "First off, why're you ashamed of it?" It was still strange that he and Xander had found more than tolerance for each other on the island, but a sort of friendship, but strange or not it had happened, and if he could help Xander get over what was upsetting him, he'd do it.
